A short introduction for schools and students: what yearbook.studio is, what working on a yearbook looks like, and where to start.
A school year goes by quickly. What is left is photos scattered across phones, a few class jokes nobody remembers any more, and shared moments that were worth a few sentences before they faded.
yearbook.studio is a tool for collecting all of that in one place and printing it as a book.
How it works
A teacher or coordinator creates an account for the class and invites the students. Each student signs in and adds their own photo and a short entry about themselves — a quote, their plans, something from the past few years. The class teacher approves what goes into the book.
When everything is ready, the service builds a finished PDF. You can send it to a print shop or print it locally.
What the school gets
No laying out pages in a word processor, no collecting photos over email. Students fill in their own parts, and whoever runs the project sees in one place what is still missing.
Student data is processed under GDPR — the school remains the data controller and we process the data only on its instructions. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
What the students get
Room for their own words. Not just an ID photo and a name, but what someone actually wanted to leave behind in the class book.
In ten years this will be the one record that survives changing phones.
Where to start
Create an account, add one class, and invite a few students as a trial. You will see the whole process on a small group before committing the whole school.
